Education, Outreach, & Nonprofit Administration Internship

About the Internship

This unpaid internship is designed to be 1-2 semesters long and fit in alongside the coursework of a student. Most meetings will be held remotely with an option of occasional in-person meetings. Some of the duties required by this internship:

  • Connect with current followers and attract new ones by creating engaging & informative educational content
  • Raise social & financial support by effectively advocating for the importance of animals
  • Explore grants and funding opportunities in Colorado
  • Support marketing and administrative operations
  • Formulate a periodic newsletter to educate supporters on current projects

About You

This internship is ideal for a student who:

  • Has a passion for animals, wildlife, the environment, and conservation
  • Is a critical thinker, creative problem-solver, and exceptional communicator
  • Understands social media platforms and their trends (especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook)
  • Has entrepreneurial spirit and a curiosity about how nonprofits successfully operate

Podcast & Media Production Internship

About the Internship

This unpaid internship is designed to be 1-2 semesters long and fit in alongside the coursework of a student. Most meetings will be held remotely with an option of occasional in-person meetings. Some of the duties required by this internship:

  • Edit One Wild World podcast episodes for quality, consistency, flow, and time efficiency
  • Aid in the production & editing of video & image content for content releases & social media
  • Carefully handle film & lighting equipment at film locations, when necessary

About You

This internship is ideal for a student who:

  • Has a passion for animals, wildlife, the environment, and conservation
  • Is a critical thinker, creative problem-solver, and confident technical operator & communicator
  • Is familiar with podcast best practices
  • Has experience editing and mixing audio in DAWs such as Logic, Ableton, or Bitwig
  • Has experience editing video & images in Adobe software programs
